By gathering resources, you can establish a fortified base, essential for your survival and territorial defence. As you acquire increasingly sophisticated materials, your base can evolve, enabling the integration of advanced defensive mechanisms for enhanced protection and autonomy in defending against external threats.
BASE DEFENSE
It seems your presence isn't appreciated down there... Could it be related to the previous scientists' activities? As you venture into more challenging biomes, you and your base will become targets for increasingly aggressive and numerous monsters. Your equipment and structures emit electromagnetic pollution, drawing these creatures towards you. It appears they are sensitive to it.
Fortunately, your AI companion, V.E.C.T.O.R., is there to alert you when they approach.
BOSS BATTLES AND PROCEDURAL DUNGEONS
To venture into the most perilous biomes and edge closer to escaping the planet, you'll need to upgrade your equipment. The abandoned scientist camps will aid you in this endeavour, offering a plethora of useful gear! However, be wary, for these camps also harbour symbiotic creatures, known as bosses. These bosses serve as your checkpoints for evolution and are your primary objectives. Adequate preparation is essential if you dare to confront them.
